hi everyone,

i love reading the paper and finding out some of the unusual names that people call their children, i was wondering if anyone had heard of any or had called their kids by an unusual name?

I prefer more traditional names, but do enjoy reading unusual ones. I'm in the process of choosing names for our baby and have spent gobs of time on different baby name websites. Most seem to have a link or list of unusual baby names. I also watch the credits for movies/tv shows. Find a list of Hollywood baby names.

I was looking through the list and my brand new baby cousin is named Lucia Rose. (Her twin is named Calvin Alexander.) That exact name is on the list. Oh well, we all love the name!

My good friend is named Kathleen Augustine. Her name rhymes! To me that's a bit unusual.

A friend who i went to school with just gave birth to a little girl who they named Merri Easther (pronounced easter) i thought it was quite strange!!!
