My husband and I are majorly stressing over a name! I'm 8 onths pregnant and we are stiil completely lost for a name. Most of the names that we have considered, are quickly put down by our daughter, Olivia, who is 14, and wants a say in the baby's name. We want a name that isn't very common, for both genders because we don't know the sex of the baby. Please help!

What were your top three for each sex? What are Olivia's likes? Just remember, it's nice to let her in on it, but you're still the parent and can name the baby whatever you like. Spend a few hours and look through other people's posts on here for lots of ideas. Good luck and happy naming!

It's understandable that your daughter wants a say in the name, but remind her that this is your choice, not hers. Though she can give her opinion, it shouldn't be dictated by her. (I'm 14 too, BTW )

Why don't you make a few lists of your favorite names, and have Olivia pick her top three-four-five from each list, and go from there. Then she gets a say, but it really is up to you.
