Monday night my older sister, who is away at college got into a car accident.
Tuesday, I was admitted to the hospital to have my baby.
Just a couple hours ago, we got a call from Josh's (my babys dad) Mom, saying that Josh's grandma just passed away literally a few hours ago.

She was nicest old lady I've ever met.

Her name was Amelia Rose.

We've made a last minute change to OUR baby's name.

her name was going to be Dawsyn Makynlie Parker.
Now it will be Amelia Makynlie Parker.
Just thought I'd inform youu.

And a couple more updates, so far this isn't too bad. I'm only almost six centimeters, and idk what contractions are supposed to feel like at this time, but I'm doing good..
Just wanna dilate more and get an epidural so I can have her alreadyy.
Hopefully she'll be here by morning!

I think Amelia is a very cute name, and I think the grandma would be honored to have your baby named after her! =)

Amelia Makynlie is gorgeous. I love that u r naming her after someone special too. I loved Dawsyn too...but Amelia is beauitful too.

I think it's awesome you are going to name her Amelia, it's such a sweet name, and it's great you are going to name her after someone special to you! That in itself makes the name better than Dawsyn, meaning is half of it, IMO.

You'd better post pictures, you've got us all excited now!
