A middle name in my opinion is something that is meant to be personal and meaningful, not just a name chosen out of the blue. First name's should be unique to the child, it's own original identity in a family of others. The middle name or names should represent a person, place, or thing that is important to the child and their family. Take the flow of the name's sound into consideration, but base the name in something concreit that will always hold a meaningful bond to something or someone important in the child or family's life.
