Naomi Rose Michelle: She's just a year old. [March 16th] Originally we had picked the name Coralie, but when she was born the name just didn't fit. She looked like a Naomi, so that's what we named her. Rose is a name that I have always loved, but I would never use as a first name. And Michelle is my middle name, and my cousin's (who I'm named after) first name.

We also have two little ones on the way.

Luke Alexander! We had his name picked out long ago when we were engaged (eight yrs before he came along). One day driving in the car, we were doing the whole "So if we ever have kids!...." thing, and I had my "list" from when I was like 14. I was just going down the list, and came upon Luke, and he really liked it. Next was Alexander, and he really liked it. We pretty much put it together right then! We love that Luke means "light giving", and that it's a book in the Bible. Also, my husband's a big Star Wars fan. At the time, the name wasn't so popular. Also, I loved that his initials would be LAM. My little lamb! (Sort of!). And possible LA nickname. We call him Luke mostly. But sometimes Lukester, Mister Luke, Luke Alexander. His name fits him so well!

Zacary Wake! Well, I figured with the other kids, it would be just as easy to name them. But, no. I was like 8 mon pregnant and we didn't have a name. Zachary wasn't even on our list. I had mentioned it to my husband years ago among a hundred others, and he thought it was okay, but wasn't "thrilled" over it. Plus, ever since I had been in his family, I had heard his youngest brother say, "If I ever have a boy, I'm going to name him Zachary." I know you can't "claim" a name, but I still respect that, and had also deleted the name from my list. Well, like I said, I was around 8 mon pregnant, and I had this wonderful dream! There was my perfect, precious, adorable, darling newborn son all wrapped up in a blanket with a little toboggan. Everything was so warm, cozy, and just right. In an arch above his head in golden capital letters was the name ZACARY. ! I knew this was a message from Heavenly Father! I felt so solid on the name. But I didn't want to blast it to my husband. I nonchalantly told him about my dream, just as I might any other random dream. He didn't say much about it. Then, a week later, my hubby came up to me and said, "Hey! You know that dream you had about the baby and the name? I really like that name! And I love the spelling! I think that should definitely be his name!" So, the first name was there. (BTW, it's really cool because my husband's name is Cary, which is the end of Zacary.) For the middle name we had it down to two or three, but couldn't decide. Zacary was born, and two days later was having the hearing screening. My husband had gone for a little while, and I was just sitting in the bed reviewing my middle name list. The nurse came in and informed me that one of Zacary's ears had not passed the screening and he has a hearing loss. Of course, it was a little sad, but at the same time, I felt great peace and knew his middle name right away, one of the ones we were considering. I said to myself, "His middle name will be Wake. We won't worry about his ears or hearing, we'll focus on his gorgeous blue eyes for now." (Eyes and wake being related). (We were considering this name because I just think it looks and sounds cool, is fresh and awesome compared to Wade or Wayne, and we're Wake Forest fans.) So that's the story on his name! We call him Zacary, Zac, Z-Man, Zee, Zacary Wake. I'll sing his name to the tune of the Kit Kat song: Zacary Wake (Like "Gimme a break", Zacary Wake. Break me off a piece of that baby boy!" I know the last part sounds kind of weird, but you know what I mean!

Maverick Paul! Again, we didn't have a name for months. I was 7-8 mon pregnant. We sort of wanted a name that ended with a K sound (like Luke) or had it in the middle that would shorten to a nickname (like Zacary to Zac). But nothing had felt right even though we liked several names with those criteria. One night after the kids were in bed, my husband was downstairs on the computer, with the TV on, doing "a million things". I said, "Honey, let's go upstairs and talk about names." He said, "Okay, but you stay down here and we'll do it right here." I said, "No! Come upstairs and snuggle on the couch with me!" And we went back and forth for like 2 minutes. Finally, I plopped down on the couch downstairs. He had the TV on ESPN, but I wasn't paying any attention to it. You know how you'll glance at the TV but be totally daydreaming? Well, that's what happened. As I was "looking" at the TV, they had posted some sort of list of NBA teams. The word Maverick jumped out of the TV and floated in the air in front of me! I thought "Maverick." I immediately LOVED it! I said, "Honey, what do you think about Maverick? And I'm so serious." (He is a comedian and would always throw crazy or weird names at me to laugh and get a reaction.) So I was trying to let him know I wasn't joking. He said it, thought for one second, and said, "I like it. I REALLY like it!" And right then and there, we knew that would be his name! As for Paul, it had always been in the back of my mind since it is a family name on both sides (at least 3 or 4 on each side). But I had not put this on our middle name list those last two months. Maverick had been born and after two days we still had not decided on a mn from our list. A few hours before we were supposed to leave the hospital, I got another sheet of paper and basically wrote out our list of like twelve names again, but put Paul in the middle, and maybe I threw in a couple more I mentioned and liked but maybe he had vetoed. I said, "Here honey, look at this list again." He looked at it and said, "Oh, Paul. How about Paul. Let's name him Paul!" And I said, "Yes! Let's name him Paul!" And it just felt right! Also, we were hoping to find another name from Scripture since we had Luke and Zacary, so Paul fit there. And it has four letters like Luke and Wake. And there are a few other cool things about it. We call him Maverick, Mav, occasionally Mavvy, "Maverick, King of the Babies", Maverick Paul. Anyway, this has been fun! I LOVE hearing how people name their babies! Since I'm done and won't be naming any more of my own (as far as I know), that's why I'm on here!

I have one little beautiful boy, Camerin Patrick. He was 5 months old on April 2nd and hes the coolest person EVER!

Camerin was really the only name that my boyfriend and I could agree on! I wanted to name him Griffin, but that was an "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!" For some reason my bf really hates the name Griffin! So we went thru all the books and websites and made lists and crossed names out and all that stuff that I am sure everyone has done! He was going to be Colin at first, because we both really like Irish names and it went well with Patrick, which is my boyfriend 1st name. Plus his last name is pretty irish. But then my whole family decided to call him Colon...Before he was even born!! So it was definitely time to change it! So we did the whole list/book/website thing again...and we picked Cameron, but I didnt like the spelling because I didnt want him to be called CamRON. So I came up with Camerin because my little sisters name is Brittany Erin and she is pretty much my best friend and I thought it would be nice to include her name! Phew! And I know this is pretty much like one big sentence because I suck at punctuation...so I apologize!
