We found out we are having a little boy and are getting a bit stumped on names. Some are Holden, Everett, Weston and Declan. Can't decide. I like Holden the best but our last name starts with an "H" and is a longer name and I don't want him getting teased. The middle name is Robert Charles. Any ideas?

Oh, I love Holden (whole Catcher in the Rye thing). I would think it's ok w/ a long H last name, only because I have a long P last name, and SOME P names sound ok. Pretending your last name is "Holloway" as a test. Holden Holloway...sounds fine.

They all sound good, but I wouldn't think "HH" would cause teasing? Doesn't stand for anything?

I absolutely love Holden, and I don't think that it would sound strange with an H last name. I'm really one for double initials

I've heard that some people could associate H.H. with Heil Hitler, but I don't think that too many would. And there are a lot of people with the initials S.S. (which was short Schutzstaffel) and that's a far more common nazi abbreviation, so I'll think you'll be fine! I have a friend with the initials H.H. and she's never had any problems with nazi associations at all
