I'm French and I heard several times in France the name Kenza for a girl and I love it, but I don't know the origin of it. Maybe arab ? What do you think of that name ? And Maelys ? or Maïwenn (both names are from Brittany). I love also Mareva, which is from Tahiti and which is a good change, I think,for another name, also from Brittany and nearly sounding the same : Maeva, but which is very common. I would like to know what mothers or fathers, out of France, think of those names that I couldn't find in the list given by this website.

Never heard of those names in the U.S. Do like the name MaKenna though, this name is a little bit like Kenza. Also, like McKenzie.
You could name her MaKenza.??? Only thing to consider is she will have to spell her name for everyone. Don't like ANY of your "M" names.

I like Kenza just fine. Kenzi is actually gaining popularity here in the U.S. as far as I can tell. Is Maelys pronounced like "MAY liss", "may EL iss", or another pronunciation? It would take a while for people to remember the sound and spelling of it, but it seems like a cool name. I don't like Maiwenn or Mareva much. Maeva is better to me. I like Reva, though! Good luck!
