The perfect name for a perfect girl.

I love the name Vienna, but everyone else thinks it sounds like an ice cream. Do you think people will think of a dessert instead of a beautiful city.

HI

Here in South Africa, Vienna is a type of small sausage.
If she plans on visiting SA or living here...She'l be laughed at majorly

I've heard of Vienne sausage too, but I didn't think of that when I heard the name, or ice cream. But it is still not my favorite name.

Vienna sausage was the first thing that came to mind when I heard it... sorry. I am from the USA.
If you are looking for a beautiful name that is from a country, I heard the name Milan the other day and I love it. I also don't believe it is used for any type of food item. Good luck.

Hi!

Vienna is a very pretty name!
Vienna Rose

Perhaps, you could spell it differently if need be, although, I would leave it as is. Once your daughter is known as Vienna they will simply think of her first rather than Vienna the city or ice cream or sausage. The City of Vienna was my first thought when I read your post.
Frankly, it's no different than using the name Boston (baked beans and Boston cream pie) or London (the city, London Fog apparel or London Bridges Falling Down). There are Savannah, Dakota, Austin,
Lincoln, Paris, Roma, and Georgia among other names that people have chosen and been happy with.
So, dear heart, if you love the name, go for it!

You'd be very surprised at how many people interprate different things. If you like the name, go for it. That's all I can say to that.
