Yes, I realize Jesse can be a boy or girl's name. It's a nice name for either I think. For a girl though, we have picked out Lindsay. My late uncle's name was Jesse and I think it is a strong name. My husband's name is James but there's no way I would name my baby Jesse James! I like the name Jesse but I don't think my hubby does. Boy names are so difficult. My husband never agrees with any names I like and he won't really say what boy names he likes other than James.

A name I wanted for my first boy but didn't name him and always regretted it / Nicolas James instead of "Scott Nicolas". Scott always strong I think.
Don't think you are gonna get that combination = strong AND cute.
