hi every one, i just found out that i was 5 weeks pregnant and now everyone around me including the father to be is in a flurry. my biggest concern is what to name the baby. i want a girl but i know that i should also get some boy names. any suggestions? ps this is my first child

Aw congrats! my favourite names for girls have always been Lola, Rose and Melantha,and more recently Vitani, Ebony and Amber but as it is unlikely I will get pregnant in the very forseeable future, use away if you wish! For boys I like Francis, I just think it's a cool name if a little old fashioned. I also like Max, Mark and Victor. Oh, my exceeding Britishness.

Rosanna - 2 names that I've discovered that are not on here are "Tahnee" (TAA-nee) (Raquel Welch the actress named her daughter that ages ago - like over 30 years ago!) and "Tarquin" for a boy (TAA-kwin) - don't know the meanings. I'm Carly-rae and still get compliments after all these years (well 26) I keep the "Rae" off mostly. My mom a big Carly Simon fan!! So if you like that there are stax of different spellings of Carly with "K's" too.
