Appreciate your feedback - thanks! I'd like to stay away from names that sound like Kaden, Hayden, or Jayden. Too trendy for us. Logan is cute, and all the Jacobs I know are good looking! But alas, we already have a cousin who has a 1 yr old boy named Jacob.

Simeon is a little too much like "simian" (monkey-like)-I'd go with Simon

Stick with Gibson then girl!! (and Clapton, Angus, Santana, Knopfler ............. what about "Slash" ??!!

LOL! Thanks for the eye opener! What's ironic and funny is that my husband and I have "pet monkey names" for each other.

I think Lucas sounds a bit old-fashioned (I don't know why!). But I like the name Luke. Probably because I dated a Luke in high school, but it's a cute name!!

I also like the names Alex, Matt, Ryan, and Garret. But those seem more common, and you looked like you were going for something more unusual. But they're still my favorite names.

How about Simmons, like Gene Simmons? "Simmons" is close to Simon and Simeon too! (I'm joking of course).
