By janey 6 Months, 1 Week Ago On second thoughts the other member is right ... Grey sounds depressing 'cos I think of depressing days as "grey" NOT "blue" days!
Blue is the colour of sky/ sea / flowers / Where I wonder, did it (blue) come from for "feeling down"!! If you like the SOUND of Grey/Gray -- look for similiar names like Freya/ Brianna / Treyanna (just off the top of my head here!!! don't know if they exist but anything is made up these days ) Y'know you don't have to be Irish but I've seen some really beautiful names in the Irish section!! And if you go for Surie everyone is gonna know you are copying Katie and Tom Cruise - I'd go for Zuri/e In the end it's all up to you two !! Good luck!!

Re:Girl Name By cdv 6 Months, 1 Week Ago Listen Elise ...
You mustn't get yourself into a panic and you sound like you are love. This is my idea and you can dismiss it out of hand. Avery reminds me of a Bird's Aviary. Are you as fixed on Grey as you are on Augustine? It's different and historical and we can hear you love it! (Augustine). But she is coming in July so why don't you go another direction with another old name like Augustine in the form of Juliet? Even tho' it doesn't MEAN July. There are variations - seems both French and Spanish meaning "Youth". If you just type in "Juli" in the Search, all variations come up ... you can scroll to up to page 4 or more ... Julietta, Julianna, etc., etc. I named my eldest Joely (not after Angelina) If you are fixed on Grey then go for it. Keep calm for the baby!!

Re:Girl Name By Roxie_Mom_3 6 Months, 1 Week Ago I think Grey Augestine is a great name and if you are in love with it than I say go for it. Not everyone is going to like the name you pick for your child. As long as you like it and you believe your child will be happy with it, then I say go for it. I am in the same situation as you. I am due next month and it seems like every name I pick out for my girl, someone (aka, family members) have something to say about it. I think once she comes out I will know what name belongs as you might too...
Good Luck!!

By Elise 6 Months Ago Okay, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I haven't forgotten about you guys...but I was feeling a little overwheilmed ans stressed (
I was just going to go with Grey Augustine and leave it at that...but then...I read more posts...and I have been feeling a bit contradicted....so I have some fresh ideas. I would still like to keep Grey in the name...somehow...maybe a hyphen or as a second middle name or even a nickname. What do you think of: Audrey Grey Augustine Averi Grey Augustine Emma Grey Augustine Emily Jean Augustine Emma Jean Augustine (My Mom's name) Sawyer Grey (and/or) Augustine Please help. Also, I would really appreciate it if you stuck to the names I provided. (I also really like Suri/Zuri [Preferably -sp- Suri, I don't care that Tom and Kate used it. It is not like they patented or anything] and Elizabeth [My husband's mom's name].) Also, I know it is off topic, but my husband recently got a promotional job offer. It pays a lot more, however, we have to move. The options they are giving us to move are (In the company preferred order): New York California Pennsyvania Possibly out of country (England). I really don't want to move out of country becaus ethen the baby won't get to see her relatives. We currently live in Florida, within 50 miles of both our families. We are very family oriented. My husband is vouching for New York. I like New York because we will be in the same time-zone, however that is a very expensive move because we would have to move either to Manhattan or the surronding area. I don't want to move to CA, and I am not sure why Pennsylvania is on there. PLease leave your opinion. Thanks God Bless XOXO -Elise (P.S: Sorry this was so long!
