Just some tentative suggestions?
By cdv 6 Months Ago
I go for French-sounding names, as my married surname is "de Villiers" - South African Afrikaans (from the early French Huguenots). I'm Australian.
I've a long way to go so just thinking "girl" at the moment.
I like 'J's' and 'G's' - but not specifically. Our nearly-4 y.o. daughter is Joely Dior - 'JD' for a nickname. (Joely is not from the French 'Jolie' but it sounds it)
Would be interested to see if any suggestions co-incide with some on my list.

Hiya .. I'm very new on here and LOVE browsing.
I also love the French language and trying to learn it but it's one of the most difficult!!
Just a few to have a look-see, also plenty of variations in spelling. A site says these are authentic:

Amelie
Adrienna
Cadence
Giorgia
Gianina
Gianna
Gisele (I like this French spelling but can't get the diacritic over the first 'e'!)
Jaceil
Jenai
Josette
Jacquelle
Jeralee
Jordana
Joslyn
Xantha
Yvette (of course)
Zahra

I'll be back!!

The last lot. Let me know if I hit the jackpot with one or two on your list
Unfortunately a lot of these names need the diacritical marks to look "Beautifully French".

Anais (for example with the dots over the i)
Anouk-Aimee
Axelle
Celeste
Charline
Charlize (maybe not .. SA actress)
Celeste
Coralie
Cherie (Sherie)
Gaelle
Ghislaine
Gwenaelle
Lucienne
Marielle
Mireille
Sacha
Sidonie
Vienne

I LOVE French names!! They are so cool and yes, better with those dots and things (thanks for the word 'diacritic' !!) I wouldn't know where to start if it was me!
Gianina & Gianna are lovely & Gael spelled like that is to. (Joely Dior is really so diff'rent and pretty!)
