cute baby names meanings: Devin or Josie?
By Hada 6 Months Ago
I have a list of cute baby names with meanings - which would you choose for an actual name? I know the spellings are a bit unique. One for boys and one for girls please!

Boy names:
Devinn (from David)
Tommiy (from Thomas)
Josie (from Joseph)

Girl names:
Chiennien (Cheyenne)
Dianie (Diane)
Kellie (Kelly)

For a girl I vote Kellie. For a boy, I'm not sure - definitely not Josie (too girly) and Tommiy really isn't my taste. What about Devin spelled just this way, it wouldn't look so feminine.
Personally, I don't like cutesy names I think they are a little bit inappropriate for an adult. Good luck!

i prefer tommy and kellie. I do agreee with the person before me though. for any of the names name the baby the formal proper form of the name then give them whatever nick name you want. Just consider that a cutesy name for a baby is fine, but it doesnt often translate well to an adult whos say a doctor or a judge. You want to give your baby options for alternative names once they are an adult so their name can sound as professional as they want. but thats just my opinion. good luck

I know you said one of each, just thought I'd say more.

Josie was on my list of choices for my daughter Joely, so no.

If Joseph was my choice I would go with Joss.

Don't like any Tommy's (except Tommy Lee Jones )

Devinn - nice, but I would stick with Deven or Devon.

I like Diani.

I have to say I agree with the proper names too. My mom did that with me. Named my Cynthia and called me Cyndi. Gave me the choice and I use it sometimes, not often though. I think of myself as more of a Cyndi but I am glad that I got the option.

I like the Tommy (name him Thomas) that is my brothers name and Kellie is just great as is (and strange enough that is my sisters name Kelli) Too terrific you picked both of my siblings names :^)

Good Luck!
