As many people have said on here and I agree, Marie goes beautifully with a lot of names, especially those ending in an 'uh' sound as in Alyssa. And you'll get loads of names coming at you soon. Also I would go for a 1-syllable, a 2, or a 4, as Alyssa is a 3-syllable. And try to steer clear of the same sound, e.g. Alyssa Brianna - we all give our own opinions on here, so this is mine.
