Hey all, i'm writing a book though it's still in development stages, and i've finally decided on names for my main characters and their friends. Please tell me what you think... If you have any suggestions i would love to hear them.

I find it somewhat implausible that there are so many children with unusual names who all managed to be friends. Every group of friends has a few with unusual names, but usually a few of the more popular names, too. I'd suggest looking at the popular names from 15 years ago and pulling at least a few of those in--unless your book is meant to be fantasy or set in the future, where perhaps those names would be more common.

Some of those names are pretty common--but among toddlers, people who are just being named (ie Chase, Brody, Skylar). Alyssa seems to be a fairly common name for all ages.

oh yeah, forgot to mention that it will be set 10-15 years in the future...

But i will definitely look at maybe adding a few more common names in there.
