Re:is this name wierd? By LainaMay 2 Months, 1 Week Ago I think Berlin is a cute name for a girl. There's a recent post about how someone's kids are all named after cities & countries for example Georgia and Savannah. i dont think it'll scar the child... the name isnt that extreme.
and Afton just takes getting used to. i mean at first it doesn't sound like a name but it's appreciated after hearing it a few times. i recently met someone name Ramine (raw-meen) and i say it's a cool name. at first it doesnt sound like a name but it just takes gettin' used to. eevverryybooddyy is going to have their opinion in names. but if you like it and you really put thought into it and everything. then go for it!

Re:is this name wierd? By silversky32 2 Months, 1 Week Ago Berlin isn't a bad name at all. I know someone who named her kids Sweden and London, and I don't think its any different than those.
As far as Afton goes I absolutely love it, one of my favorite names for a boy or girl. Although for a girl I think I would spell it Aftyn.

Re:is this name wierd? By CdeV@oz 2 Months, 1 Week Ago Berlin I see is also 'Berlinn' which could make it that little bit 'less like a big city' - it's up to you. Afton is Celtic from the river as you said. 'Grafton' is quite popular in Australia so why not 'Afton' which at least has a meaning?
