Well here it is, Saturday i thought i was contracting and i went up to the hospital and found that i had a urinary track infection. They told me if i hadn't went up that i would have gone into labor. They also said i was dehydrated and gave me 8hrs of i.v. in a 2hr. period and then sent me home. John had the next couple days off so I had stayed in bed on Sunday and went down stairs twice that day. Once for a snack and the second for something else. Monday i stayed in bed and went down stairs twice as well, once for a snack and something to drink. The second to make a quick dinner. One of those things where you throw into the microwave and put over pasta or potatoes. Well that took me like ten minutes to make and when i was done I had told John that I needed my water pitcher that was up stairs. I also said that i would meat him in the dinning room and we could eat at the table with Michael. So as I grabbed my plat and didn't even get the chance to fully lift it off the counter, GOOOUSH***** blood every where.... All down my legs and all over the floor. There was a lot of blood. I had screamed in fear for John to come running down the stairs and he had a look of shock. He told me to remain calm and i was freaking out. I started to bark orders to him and then called the maternity ward and told them that we were on our way.---(oh and for some that don't know why that there was blood instead of fluid, it's cause of the placenta previa)--- Then called John's friend Eric who had just left the house to turn right back around and come back to watch Michael cause my mom was on here way. Then called my dad to relieve Eric cause i really didn't want to leave Eric with him. Cause Michael would feel more comfortable with family.
So we got the hospital at 8 pm and they prepped me for an emergency C-section, even though Yes i know i was gonna have a c-section on the 25th. The nurses were rough. Due to my blood loss i had to be put to sleep or I would have gone into shock. They didn't even use any staples. They used desolving stitches inside me and glue on the outside. I had never heard of that. I woke up not too long after they did all that and Luckas was born. He was born at 8:32, 6lbs. 8oz. 19.inches long on Monday the 16th. He was tinny and is the best thing that happened to this family .
Came home on Thursday night and what a night that was I couldn't even get in and out of our bed cause it's so high. John got the least sleep cause he had to help me and Luckas all night. The doctor gave me vikadin to help my pain and it made me all cheech and chong. I think an episiotomy was much less painful. I have had some drainage and the doctor said that it is normal. My healing process seems to be slow and i can't wait until i am healed. I wonder if i will ever be able to do anything soon.

Congratulations Mom_of2. Get well soon. It does take a little time to get over a c section but it will not be long and you will be on the road to recovery.
