So I'm not pregnant nor am I tring. I have always been the one to help friends find names. So I have a friend who is having a girl and wants something that has never been used or is rarely used. I came up with a name and was wondering if it has ever been brought to anyone's attention. The name I came up with is Nakota Jade. Now I know that Jade is used frequently but it just seems to be the only other name I could find to fit right. So what do you think. I would really like some help.

Nakota Jade, I've never heard it before. It is ok as far as names go. How about Nikota, then you can call her Niki for short.

My people are Nakota as in the Dakota, Lakota, Nakota Oyate(people).
Nakota is one of three dialects, and is not a girls name as the baby websites state, it is a name of a tribal nation. Don't name her Nakota because you want to be trendy, being Nakota is a way of life, not just a name.
