Okay I am due any minute and having name doubts. We had pretty much settled on Tessa Adeline, but the more we say it the less it seems right. The middle name will be Adeline no matter what, its after a special family member. My older 3 kids are Garrett Daniel, Taryn Suzanne, and Kyndel Alicia. Each middle name is after a family member so we are continuing that tradition. Each of their first names have a fun story to go with the reason they were chosen. Tessa is just because we were both able to compromise on it. It really has no special meaning and I think that's what's bugging me. I've come across Evangeline a number of times but until I read Longfellow's poem I didn't really connect with it. I just received a BA in English and I love poetry so it really resonated with me. Besides its a beautiful poem. I also liked that we could call her Eva or Evan for short. DH is sort of on board. So I was thinking there were several names here to actually choose and I'd love any opinions:

p.s. I think I really love Evan, but DH thinks its too masculine.

Tessa Adeline; I think Theresa Adeline would be nicer, you can always call her Tessa.

Eva Adeline; this is probably my favourite.

Evan Adeline; I agree with ur hubby, too masculine. I dont get the trend of giving girls boys names.

Evangeline Adeline; is nice but a bit much to get your mouth around.

Evan is very masculine. Evangeline is really pretty, you could call her Eva or Angel. I really don't like Angel but you might. I think it is nice that you have a story behind each of your other children's names, so go with Evangeline. It is a great name!!
