I don't want to come off weird or strange but i have been feeling really weird lately. I just had my second son two and a half weeks ago and i have been feeling off. I never had felt this way with my first son at all, at least from what i remember. I have these thoughts when i am alone. Even more so when I look at my newborn son. I think of life and what I have and that I can loose it all one a second. I think of life and then death. How my life could go so fast then my children could be all grown up. I feel like i am fearing death and that I never want it to come. I think that seems like I have head problems and I don't want want to feel that way. Are these signs of depression or postpartum? I am weird or odd to think these things? Is there something wrong with me?

Talk to your doctor, he/she can refer you to someone you can talk to that can help guide you through a difficult situation. There is no shame in it, alot of women go through alot of emotional upheaval right after having a baby.

You could be having postpartum depression, talk with your doctor there is medications that can help, if that is what you are having. Good luck! Having a second child is hard, and very emotional. I remember feeling like I was taking away love from my first child by having the second. I didn't of course but I couldn't help crying over it. I managed without medication, but it might have helped me if I had asked my doctor. Good Luck!
