going by the names that you like, i will suggest a few girls names.
isabelle instead of isabella. i want to name my daughter isabelle because it was my grandmothers middle name. i will call her libby for short. actually "libby jo" (jo short for josephine). isabelle victoria is a nice name. or victoria isabelle? you could call her tori. allison is too plain for you so maybe alice, alica, or alisha? or maybe alaina mae? adalaide is also a nice name. addy for short. ava is popular but its a nice name. what about anneliese? annie for short. well, just a few suggestions.

I completely understand how you feel about finding a girls name. I completely loved my older kids' names and knew they were right so there was never any question. This baby has been so difficult to name. I'm 9 days over due and still not sure. Part of my problem is that DH won't look for names he just shoots down what I really like or gloms onto one I mention in passing. The older kids also have opinions and I want them to feel part of the process. I'm at the point where I really could almost care less what we name her and will just live with whatever he picks. I'm even considering letting the Doctor name her at this point because I am so over it. It makes me feel like a bad mom. I just figure if it makes DH happy at this point I'll deal with it. Just wish I could be excited about it.

You mentioned liking Alli but not Allison. THats not ur only option. My eldest is Alexis but we call her Ally. SO you could absolutely go with Alexis, Alexa, Alexia, or Alexandra. Or you could go with another Al starting name.

Alessa
Alaura
Alanna
Alica
Alivia
Alice

And when you mentioned Victoria i had to laugh considering ur like of Alli. Our daughters full name is Alexis Victoria. I think its a terrific name even 12 years later. Very classy throughout life.

maybe u should just keep the naming between u and the father. We considered asking our oldest 4 with our new baby but we didnt want anyone winning over the rest or for them to not like the baby because their name wasnt chosen. And family members can just be annoying when naming your baby. we tried that the first time and learned our lesson, never told them the options again until the name was settled on. Good luck in naming.
