We are leaning more to Beau, but are not 100% sure yet. (I'd almost forgotten until I browsed the posts) My idea and yours were turned down ... but I had my tongue a little in my cheek as to "Beau Ashley" at first, until I thought it through. And as 'o.irish' said it was a boy's name first in 1936 --- so I've one last thing to say. Margaret Mitchell wrote the book so why not: Beau Mitchell (can't get much more manly than that!)
