my friend decided she wants to name her baby girl Narissa. she had her heart set on Emmalyn Jane, but heard the name Narissa somewhere and fell in love with it. she would still use Jane as the middle name. When she asked me what i thought about it, i said i liked it, but i'm not so sure...i think emmalyn is much prettier. what are your thoughts?

I agree... Emmalyn is better and unique... Narissa is unique but it sounds too much like Marissa or Melissa... people will mix up the name all her life.

Sorry I don't like the name Narissa, it reminds me of the word - narcissist. So out of the two Emmalyn Jane gets my vote!
