Honestly I don't think Kaitlyn Mae flows well at all. So my vote is for Hailey Mae...prefer spelling Haley.

Hailey spelled this way makes me want to say HAIL-ee instead of HAY-lee.

Kaitlyn Mae, cause Hailey Mae sounds like Fannie Mae or Sally Mae. Bed idea. lol

Both pairs of names have a lot of the sounds of aaaa eeee.

Here is an old trick for helping decide. Write a bunch of names on pieces of paper. Only one name on each piece so Mae gets its own piece of paper. Hailey on a separate piece Kaitlyn on a separate piece. Add 5- 6 more of your favorites. Lay them out face up by the phone and start just sliding them around while you talk. A combination will just jump out at you.

btw, Very short first names are a blessing for tiny tots writing their names at school.

I'm a fan of Hailey Mae. It just flows better in my opinion. You could just name her Katie Mae. I think that flows better then Kaitlyn Mae also.
