I really can't fight with him about his weird names,this baby is half his so he should have some say in the names, but I don't know how to disguise or coax him out of his name choices.

It's all about compromise. I'm not even pregnant yet and my husband and I are already making a list of names we are both ok with. While I agree that he should be included in the naming process, you shouldn't be forced to pick a name you absolutely despise. Try leaning more towards the names on his list that you are ok with. You could also suggest something like you get to pick the first name while he gets to use one of his favorites as a middle name. Hope these suggestions help!

Daisy is the only name I find appropriate from that list. Maybe you could present him with a long list of names that you like. He can see if he likes any of those. You can also go through lists on the internet or out of books together and see what you like.

You could always make suggestion of names you like that MEAN what he likes. For example, Dawn, Zaria, and Zora all mean sunrise, and they could make you both happy. Or you could find names that sound similar. Or names that start the same or end the same.

I think that most of the names he has come up with will work well as middle names. You find some of your faves that go with his and you have a nice compromise. Good Luck!

This is what happened with me and my boyfriend.

i liked Tallulah & Ophelia for a girl, he liked Heaven & Jordan

for a boy i liked Lucas & Ishak, he liked Lucas & Sergio

So we comprimised, for a girl we are going to call her Tallulah or Ophelia and both pick a middle name.

For a boy, we both chose Lucas, with Ishak as the second name.

It taken a long time to decide, but its worth it!
