I like these. Very original.

In my personal opinion why give a kid a name that you are going to have to give a nickname to? Give them names that mean a lot without having to be shortened. My nephew's name is Gabriel and they call him Gabe and it drives me crazy...
We dont know the sex of my baby yet but we have names picked out for both and neither are ones that many nicknames can derive from.
Just my opinion... hope it helps.....

Go online and search for a specific type of name... both of our first names for our baby-to-be are Irish... it narrows the field sometimes.

1. Scarlett Jayde (I love, Scarlett. PLEASE don't shorten it to Carly, but why pair it with Jayde? That's two colors in one name. How about Scarlett Rose)
2. Elizabeth Hope (Elizabeth is boring, but I love Ellie -very cute and I LOVE the name Hope)
3. Ember Danielle (Ember is very original and cute so why call her Dani? You might as well not call her Ember at all)

To be honest, I don't care for the other boy's names because they are just too overused at this point. Jacob Benjamin is a great name, but how many Jacobs do we really need? Originality goes a long with me.

I really like Skylar May / Sky, but i also like the spelling Skyler Mae adorable names. I also like Blake, but NOT Rodney and please don't use Marcell. I really like Matthew Alan though and Marco Riley is cute
