For those asking about my situation, my parents passed away a week after i was born. I was put in a foster home because i had no other known family to go to [both my parents were adopted]. I met my boyfriend Aidan when i moved to Ohio with my foster family. He was 15 and i was 12 when we started having sex. Now i am 13 and pregnant and he is 16. I found out from a doctor that i am indeed 2 months pregnant. I found out when i went to the doctor for a physical to find out if i could play soccer. Thats when he told me i couldnt play and then he told my foster parents i am pregnant. My foster parents re fine with it their wasnt really any reaction because i am not the only one of their foster children who is pregnant. Aidan is planning on trying to help. And i am just trying to get by with what i can.

Oh wow your life sounds very similar to a character's life on a soap opera I used to watch but at any rate, your very young, and if I were you don't go telling everyone your boyfriend is so much older even if he's under 18. I really find that shocking that all this wow is happening to one person, and I really think its so taboo that a 12 year old is having sex!!!

Kyler, you sound like a very mature 13 year old. You have experienced many things in your short life thus far. Will you be going back to school in the fall? Does your school offer special courses for pregnant students? I mean like veto the phys ed. credit requirements. Have you registered as special needs for the upcoming school year? There are many resources there for you, and do NOT be ashamed to ask for them - and take every opportunity to use them.
Now, about your babes name, I see why you chose Skylar, as it rhymnes with your name Kyler. I love the name Skylar. But I would not use the name Sapphire with Skylar. I would used one or the other, because they are both beautiful. You cannot affect what other people will think, when they hear a name, and it absolutely is no one elses call, when it comes to naming your own child. You seem to be taking this very seriously, by concerning about the name projecting a positive impression. I agree with you in not wanting it to sound like a strippers' name.
Here are a few suggestions for both Skylar or Sapphire (that sound feminine, and gracious):
Skylar Faline (Faline was Bambi'e girlfriend name in nursery story)
Skylar Aaliyah
Skyler Tullia
Skylir Aingeal (Angel)
Skylyr Felicity
Sapphire Cheyenne
Sapphire Brielle
Sapphire Jusstine
Sapphire Meadow
Sapphire Lacey
see, they are both beautiful names, when they stand on their own.
