By mypersonalsun 3 Years, 6 Months Ago I spent some time going through Beatles songs to pull references and make names from them...I'm just trying to compile a big list to choose from...I was just wondering if these were OK or if you had any suggestions
Girls Sadie Rose Elizabeth (Lizzy) Prudence Molly McKenzie Lucy Skye (I'm worried about this one being too direct...do you think she'd be teased?) Boys Maxwell Silver (since I don't like the name Edison) Desmond Harrison Jude Lennon

By taras 3 Years, 6 Months Ago I personally love Beatles related names, or really just musical names, it creates such a cool story to tell your children later on, about how they got their name. Plus, when you play them the song(s) they were named after, it's like their song, which I always was so jealous of (my sister's name is Lucy, after the song).
I think all of the names you've come up with are good, and the only other I can think of is Michelle. I like Lucy Skye, Sadie Rose, and Jude Lennon the most!

Re:Beatles-related names... By Tee 3 Years, 6 Months Ago I wasn't a huge Beatles fan but I liked them.
Only one that comes to mind is Penny Lane (Layne) (was 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' not referring to LSD? I heard something about that)

By Flutura 3 Years, 6 Months Ago Sadie Rose - Sadie is "sad" combined with "die" for me, as sad as that sounds
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Prudence - Elizabeth's classic, strong, and feminine. Prudence I dislike because of "prude" (she could get the "'prude' is her middle name!" teasing :/) and it reminds me of prunes, for some reason.. and it's been pointed out to me before that the word "dense" is there in sound, which is never good Molly McKenzie - Love Molly. It's so cutesy and plain, but I love it. McKenzie's all boy. Mac- means "son of," so any "Mac" name, no matter how you spell it, is always all boy. Maybe Eleanor Molly? Lucy Skye - Do I think she'll be teased? No.. definitely not. Lucy's nice, although I prefer a longer version. Skye's NMSAA.. I really really dislike it. Lucy Skye has too much "sss" sound in it for me too. Lucille was in one of their songs.. Lucille, nn Lucy, maybe? Some other usable girl suggestions: Penelope - Penny Lane was a street John Lennon lived on, so Penelope nn Penny.. or nn Lola, Nelly, etc Valerie Margaret - nn Maggie for Maggie May.. Margaret May could be a bit much, but maybe Molly Margaret if you like the alliteration Mary Jane - it's actually Mary Jane in the song, but that's slang for marijuana, so I separated them.. Penelope Jane, nn Penny, would be cute Anna Julia Holly Abigail - nn Abbey, for Abbey Road.. Penelope & Abigail as sisters would be cute.. an indirect nod at Penny Lane and Abbey Road Maxwell Silver - way too direct. Maxwell's beautiful.. but Silver.. no way, sorry. I dislike it as a name and I dislike the direct connection. Jude Maxwell would be stunning Desmond Harrison - Really really dislike Desmond and Harrison, although Harrison the better of the two IMO. Daniel Harrison would be better maybe? Daniel was in one of their songs Jude Lennon - Jude was the nickname for John Lennon's child, so this is way too direct IMO. The song was written when John and his wife were going through a divorce, and this was "comfort" for Jude (the full name was Julian, but the nn was Jude, from what I can find). I love Jude Maxwell though other usable boy suggestions: HenryMatthew (Matt) Walter John George Paul Richard Pete Stuart I included the names/middle names of The Beatles as well Hope this helps!
