Did I not say it was my opinion??

And I'm not presenting myself as a specialist, I'm sharing what I know, since this is a topic I've studied for years on end, even in school through Linguistics and Language Theory.

We all have our opinions. Most of us are not 'experts", we just know what we like and what we don't like. It is true that we need to be tactful and kind, and not sound too uppity, or self-righteous in the name department.

I do not mean to discredit you in any way, but in another post I saw you said you were 21 years of age. So to say you have been studying for years on end may be a stretch at your young age.
Names have been my hobby since I was probably 10 years old.I would write long lists of names...what I was going to name all 6, 8, or 10 of my kids, lol.I continued my name lists with my kids, my brother, etc. We would sit and write our lists. So I LOVE this too.
I just think that when someone writes in and asks our opinion, we need to be careful of our tone. This is something I have studied. "Communication in an Info world", which is a University course, that teaches us how to write memos and emails and busines letters so we do not sound snippy, or too authoritive etc.
so pleae, re-read some of your posts and see if maybe your tone may need a bit of adjustment. They are coming across to some of us as very self-righteous, and rather a bit of you being a know it all. It keeps a better atmosphere for all of us if we can have fun and enjoy.
