I classify myself as being open minded and creative in thinking, so I must tell you that this name, when I heard it the first time, sounded beautiful to me, as well did present a special essence and ambiance about this lovely baby who would forever carry this name. I thought it quite striking at the time, and recognized that I would not personally use this name in my lifetime to name a daughter, however, admired this young mother as to her confidance, talents and desire to be in the current naming circle.
However, to date, I must say, it has taken on the same naming pattern as Linda, Cheryl and Debbie did in my childhood. Surely there will be numerous Nevaeh's in the same classroom, so I am hoping the parents have also attached a distinctive middle name, so as the teachers may differentiate the Nevaehs in class. Hopefully there will not be numerous Nevaeh Rose, or Emmas in the same classroom. I would not want my daughter distinguished by Nevaeh Rose row 1, Nevaeh Rose row 2, Nevaeh Rose in the back. In other words, we will see a trend arise with the Echo children, wherein names that parents considered unique and unpopular, will actually be common in this cohort group.
Just my opinion. Pardon my ranting. Genevra
