Nevaeh, Ryleigh, and all those types of names fall in the same category to me: trendy, overused, boring, too common, too "creative," and lacking substance.

Kasie.. it's just not substantial enough for me. I have friends named Casey, girls and boys, but every one of them has a name behind it. Cassandra or Cassandre for the girls, and Cassidy for boys.. the other boy's last name is Cason (KAY-sun), so he goes by Casey since he dislikes his first name. As a stand alone name, sorry, I'm not a fan :/

We are here to help, and we don't want someone naming their child something that will stigmatize them forever, do we? Even the mother who actually named her child Nevaeh now regrets it.

Also, she didn't put up all the names at once, rather inserting them as people were replying. It's impossible to tell what names people are responding to.
