My husband's name is Philip Snow (Snow is his Mother's maiden name). I'm pregnant and my husband really wants to name our first son Philip Snow Jr. but I am lost as to what to call the baby. Both PS and PJ would be weird and I want to call him something other than Philip because I think that would be too confusing. The only other option I thought of was calling him a different version of the name, like Pip which is I think the Dutch version of Philip. I just think people will think it's weird and I will get tired of explaining why we call him Pip. Also, I don't want people calling him Pippin.

Anyway, if anyone has some suggestions I would be very grateful!

you could call him Junior. or you could use Phillip as the middle name. or you could call him Phil but that just sounds like Dr Phil to me LOL. other than that i really dont know unless you just maybe use Snow as the middle name and use a different first name that started with P. or you could make it that they both have the same initials.

Ok so there are few alternatives/variants to Phillip:
Pip, Phipps (an actress calls her son that since birth as he is Phillip and he is now in college and still goes by Phipps),
felipe,Flip.

Nothing is wrong with P.J. for Phillip Junior.

Difficuilt not sure what to suggest. Someone lese said call him Phiilip.............Snow and call him by th middle name, that would work. Sorry susieqzee i don't think P.J is a good idea at all he might get a bit of stick about that. Junior is always an option but personally i dont like it!
