By BabyBean 3 Years, 5 Months Ago Okay,
So I am fairly new to this site. I posted about the name Kieran for a girl, and was very impressed with the responses. I have snooped around at a lot of threads, and have noticed that everyone on here seems very nice; supportive and opinionated without putting others down-which I admire, because on so many other baby-naming websites, it's easy for people to be rude, mean, and downright cruel. Lots of posters on here are very creative in their names, which I love! So... my husband and I are set on a name for a boy: Preston Daniel (its got family significance for both of us) and has been decided since about 3 months into our relationship, which was quite a few years ago! No budging on that! However... girls names are bit harder for us. Our list, which we add to and delete from every day, is: Kaiya (pron. K-eye-ah) Coralie (nn Cora) Kiri (like as a nn) Lorelei/Lorelie Aubrie/ Aubrey Payten/Paetyn Julianna/Julienne Delainey Elianna/Elliana-(nn: Ellie/ Ella) Kieran Liya (pron. "Lee-ah" Our last name is Quinn, which makes things a little difficult with the flow of some names.. I liked Harlow.. but Harlow Quinn sounds like those cheesey romance novels, Anna Quinn sounds like mannequin.... I am rambling now, but would LOVE some input, suggestions, opinions... Thanks in advance!

By carflin 3 Years, 5 Months Ago I like the name Payten and think this would go well with Quinn. I also think Payten would go well with many different middle names. I also like the name Madison.

Payton Peyton Phaeton Actually on my Most popular baby names of the decade list: Peyton is listed as #376th place out of 1000 girls names. The names Phaedra, Haven, Paige are feminine too. I have a problem with names with the same ending sound. As an "n" ending first name, with "n" ending last name. That is just my personal preference. Many others here would disagree. You will receive numerous opinions on here, but keep in mind, this is your decision, your baby, and your call. My favorite from your list of names is Julianna Quinn. Maybe Julianna Phaedra Quinn. Let us know what you decide. Genevra Last Edit: 2008/08/24 20:22 By DONE GOODBYE genevra.
