My husband and I are expecting baby no.6 and trying to decide on a girls name. He likes 'Kate' and I like 'Isla'. We thought that we would try something different (well, for us) and have two first names. But how to have/write them is a matter of debate.

Isla Kate, or Isla-Kate, or IslaKate?

The middle name will be either one of the following;
Annalise or Vienna

How do you think a double name should be written?
What is your opinion on the use of a double first name?

I love Isla-Kate. I think it is gorgeous and your little daughter is very lucky to have such a nice name. I would hyphenate so people know that Kate is not her middle name, I don't really care for IslaKate as one word. I like Annalise for a mn. Great choices.

I like Isla-Kate as well. If you don't hyphenate then people will assume that her first name is just Isla and Islakate just seems odd to me. As for your middle name choices, I like Annalise as well.

I like the idea of two first names, it's less common.

definetly Isla-Kate, im not usually a fan of hyphenated names but i do really like this one.

I really like Isla-Kate! Isla-Kate Annalise would be great!
