I like the name Uriah - it's a strong, biblical name. As for the nickname issues - kids will find a way to make fun of any name. Don't sweat it.

As for teasing, well people can find a way to make a nickname out of nearly any name.

To me it is great meaning. Alo, sounds like Mariah, Josiah, jedediah, etc.

I am surprised some look at it and see "urine".
