I worked with a girl whose mother (Janice) spelt her name Janys and she called her daughter Jancis ... a combo. of Jan and Francis (her hubby). Jancis is a listed name though she found later! Or if you like hyphenating: Jamie-Cee or Sue which is close to your made-up name and James. (not unique enough?) It is an unusual name, and if it is what you like, I say go for it and don't worry about what others think about it.
