I love the name Emerson for a little girl, and I was considering it for my baby girl.
I love Emerson Kate, Emerson Grace, and Emerson Rose, and with the nickname Emmie. I thought they sounded so pretty and girly! When I told people about the name I liked, they said that they only thought of it as a boy's name...what do you think Emerson is better suited for, a girl or boy? Thanks

Emerson sounds more masculine to me but why not? That is how names go, starts out being used for one gender and makes the leap to the other.
