And she wants to name the baby Maynard if it's a boy ! That in my opinion is horrible, should i tell her? What are your opinions on the name? My advice to your friend is, think of the school yard. Because more likely than not, he'll be known as 'nerd' instead of nard. but if he's at least being named after someone, then i guess at least his mother likes the name eh? It is only bad to you, not her. IF she asks you, then be honest, but gentle.If she does not ask your opinion than keep it to yourself. Some people actally like names like that. I personally do not.
