I think it's an ok name. Don't worry i had this problem a lot! I posted my fave name on here adn had loads of negative feedback! Then someone told me to go with my instics or heart etc. So i did, i decied it was my fave name so i told my friends. Some of then thought it was ok, some said they weren't fussed but a few really liked it so i was pleased with my decision. A while later one of mybest friends changed her mind and thought it was a really stupid name and i'm sorta thrown with what to do. It's still my fave name but i'm not sure if i could use it now. So i'm with you,and so, sorry but i'm not sure what to suggest to do, so go with whatever you thinkis right.

Well i like Asher but i dont like Simon but it's your child name it whatever you want...

Well I think Asher is an adorable name, not too crazy about Simon as a mn but thats only because its my last name, so really my opinion on that can't be trusted.

I would say to just go with what you think is best, yeah its nice to get positive feedback from people, but people don't always have the same ideas on names. If you do decide to use the name, people will grow to like it, trust me. When my mother named me Kaia, most the people in my family hated it, and now that everyone else they meet ohs and ahs over it, they've decided its a cute name. I think the same will happen with the name you guys have chosen.

Also another point is that a lot of people in my family don't like the name I've picked out for my daughter, but most of them agree that since it is my baby, the decision is up to me and daddy, not them. Granted there are a few annoying ones who don't seem to understand that quite yet, but once you mention that if they want to name something they can have their own kid or go get a pet, they usually shut their mouths, also if you happen to be a bit snappish when you say it I don't think anyone will hold it against you since there are those raging pregnancy hormones.

My family doesnt like the name we picked if we have a boy
which is Zachariah Cameron Aka Zach. But this is my child and We like it. It is your decision anyways. Though it is nice for family to help.

I think it's a pretty name and the important is that you and your husband like it, your the parents, taht doesn't mean you don't listen to your family's advise tehy might have some other names taht you like, but if u really like this one stick with it - i like it!
