alot of people on here have been saying that its her identity and she shouldnt get it changed and stuff. but you do not know the situation only "mommy2many" does so you dont know why this child wants to get her name changed. as Brieal said, she might want to get rid of it because of her past history and wants a new nick name for a new life, i dont know but thats just my take on it. i did not mean to be rude and im sincerly sorry if i offended anyone, im just stating my opinion

Possibly, Brieal. But I suspect there is more to the story. i.e. Marcy isn't really that keen on a name change but is willing to since mommy asked. Or maybe mommy convinced her to change her name. Or maybe mommy convinced herself Marcy wants a name change.

Well if marcy wants to change her name or nn then go for it but if she doesnt like the idea then just do what she thinks is best beause after all she's 9 and its her name

So then why is mommy2many asking people on an internet forum? Shouldn't she be asking Marcy?

I mean, mommy hates her name and goes to the internet to find a replacement. I feel bad for the poor girl.

mommy2many came on here looking for a suggestion for a new nick name/name for her daughter that wants to change her name. none of us know the whole situtation and so have no right to be saying that she shouldnt change it. we dont know the whole reason and i know i wouldnt be posting that sort of infomation on the internet. she came here looking for names steve, not anything else. again im sorry if i offended anyone, just stating my opinion.

hey! what about mariella? its a beautiful name, and close to your daughters name as is.. ya never know!! it could work and what is with Steve?! Totally inappropriate behaviour. dont feel sorry for the daughter.. she is in a good home with a loving mom who just wants everything to be perfect! <33 to be honest mommy2many, when i was younger i wish i could have had my name changed.. tara is pretty, but i didnt like it.. maybe marcella thinks the same thing...anyway, hope that helps!!
