so... i'm 18 and pregnant with what would have been my second baby (had a miscarriage 2 yrs ago) and my bf is only 16... i know that sounds weird, but he's a great guy and i love him very much. we're really excited about the baby, but he's scared to tell his parents and i'm really scared to tell my dad too. with my first pregnancy, my dad flipped out and wouldn't talk to me for a while. now that i've graduated and gotten accepted into college, he keeps saying that i better not mess it up. i don't regret getting pregnant, and i'm going to keep my baby, but i don't know how to tell him. he's going to have a heart attack. and i know he'll be really disappointed. HELP PLEASE, cuz i don't know what to do at this point, and it's killing me not being able to tell him..

Just say it and run. that's what i did, and it worked out fine. on the family end, at least.

I know that it's going to be hard, but you have to tell him at some point. It'll be worse if you just wait 9 months. I know you don't want to lose contact with your dad, especially at a time like this, but sometimes you just have to do it. Don't have an attitude, just tell him. And i don't think it's weird that your boyfriend is two years younger than you, except for the fact that you got pregnant and he's a minor. Anyway, I'm sticking by your side here, and I hope that everything works out! Let me know how it goes

I never told my dad (my adoptive father) my mum(adoptive) told him and he called me a slut so I left home and raised him by myself which was the best thing I ever did and I was 15 and a few months when I fell pregnant and I turned 16 on the 2 may and he was born 2nd June and he is 15 now

I definetly feel your pain, I got pregnant at 17 and didnt know how to tell my parents either. It may seem like the end of the world now but as soon as they get over the initial shock of it and everything calms down, everything will be fine. Your dad will be a proud grandad. I garauntee you he will spoil the baby too. Maybe it would be easier to tell him in a letter, or you could just sit him down and just say "dad Im pregnant". Good Luck!

Just tell him. Sit him down, and very calmly tell him. It's going to come out anyway, and there is no sense in hiding it.
