i was expecting my period since the 5th of this month but it hasn't arrived as yet i afraid of taking a pregnancy tests i'm not sure if i want a child i mean i believe i'll be disappointed if the test is negative but i'm scared right now thinking it might be positive. do you think i'm pregnant? if yes what should i do? oh i'm only seventeen.

Just because you missed your period doesn't mean you're pregnant! It could just be a bit late, and if you are pregnant then I'm sure your family and friends will be there for you.

Just because your period is late doesn't necessarily mean that you're pregnant. Stress can cause you not to have a period for a while. A couple years ago I went almost 3 months without a period because of stress. If you're more than 2 weeks late or are showing other signs of pregnancy(morning sickness, tender breasts, etc.) then I would definitely take a pregnancy test, just to be sure. In the mean time, don't stress it and see how it turns out.

If you are pregnant it will be alright... Like Mommyfaerie says it could be stress. It wouldn't harm anything to take the test. If I were you I would take the test this weekend or in the middle of next week to see if it is just stress or not. If you are pregnant I pray your family will be understanding and support you, and there are plenty of places like this that have us pregnant moms to talk with about things.

Before I was pregnant, like when I was a teenager, I would miss my period from time to time. It's not that big of a deal. If you really think you might be pregnant don't be afraid to take the test.Then once you know take it from there.
