a photo of something or a nick nack to use as a focal point during contractions.an outfit to wear home.

For baby:

For coach/significant other:

Breath mints..nothing worse than him having bad breath when he is counting in your face.
snacks for him
a change of clothes for him if he or she is staying over night.

im not a mum nor am i pregnant but this is roughly wat my sister in law took for wen she had her babies.

- numerous outfits with various sizes incase bub is bigger/smaller than expected and incase you stay in a bit longer

- little booties/socks and hand mittens

- baby nail clippers, they are usually fairly long when born

- a few blankets incase its colder than usual or baby messes on one

- beanie or something for babies head

- dummy/bottles etc

- diapers

- camera to take photos of baby

- book, something to keep you busy when your waiting or bub is asleep

- snacks you may want

- clothing for yourself

- hairbrush, toothbrush etc

- ipod to play music if desired

- stuff for car ride home like car seat, maybe pram etc

Hair ties!! When I was in labour with Levi I kept tying up my hair and putting it down. I don't know why I just never was satisfied with it, a focal point for my frustration I guess. The other ladies have pretty much got it covered. Also remember on the day your little one is born to get your significant other, or anyone else who is there, to pick up an international newspaper- so when the child is older they can see what was going on in the world on the day they were born My mother picked this up for me when Levi was born(it was a suprise). I really thought it was lovely!
