Does your Doctor know about your wanting to have a baby? I would honestly suggest speaking to your Doctor or Careprovider about it first. The hormonal medication that they gave you may cause some adverse affects on the child, plus if it forces you to have a period, it could very well cause you to have a miscarriage before you even realize you are pregnant, and if you are RH negative, that is a really bad thing. So way all the cons and pros before you decide. I really do hate to be one to rain on the parade and all, but I would seriously suggest talking to your Doctor first.

I'm 20 too and all I have to say is that you should think if you want to have a baby and after you have made up your mind completly. Then you should talk to the dr and find out if there is anyway to make it happen. Leave school out of it trust me there is no law that says that pregnant women can't go and there is also a lot of benefits to being a mom in school. Medicine is improving but I honestly don't know if it's getting that good yet.

hiya im not a mum nor am i pregnant but i am a uni student and i know you can do uni part time, full time or externally (this is where you can watch your classes/lectures online you are then given the assignments in the post and when you have completed them you post them back to the uni)

you could look at all of these options and a lot of uni's are willing to work around your needs i know a few of the uni's here in australia have childcare centres for those students who are parents so theiy have someone to take care of their child while they attend classes

hope this helps

i dont have things like that where i live they dont care about pregnant or woman or mothers cos we are so small it sucks

hmm, i wonder if they're giving you pergonal to make you ovulate a whole bunch of lil eggies!! that'd be great!!
remember, you can get an ENTIRE degree ONLINE now, i am currently doing so myself!! i hate to sway you in one direction, but if there are ANY problems, you don't want to miss your chance right?
my friend was older when they started trying, 38 & she was "peri=menopausal" starting to go thru the change :O long story short, she had a miscarriage, then a son, then a miscarriage, then another son, they say the 2nd son was a "miracle baby"!! so i say go for it luv!
i LOVE this site too! the gurls here are theee best in the world! i always say that, geek that i am, lol.
so stick around, we love the company, even when ppl aren't pg!!

best of luck & tell em to throw you some pergonal

Thanks to all of u for the advice. I notice i spelt advice as advise several times. Silly me. Anyway, gosh u ladies r so helpful! The doc gave me birth control to start taking but i think I am just gonna up and tell her. Listen lady I want a baby..haha. No, she does not know that I want one. She seems to be totally againt non marital and 'teenage' pregnancy...but whatever I am ready.

I know it sounds bad but EVERY couple on Barry's (my fiance) side of the family has a baby or is expecting. His little sister is due January 16 and just found out his cousin's girlfriend is due March 22. I AM SO JEALOUS! I do not want a baby just bc they r all having one but bc I really really want one. Barry and I have been together way longer than any of these couples and I just see us starting a family before them but I guess not . Well we will see how it all goes.
