By twibaby#2 2 Years, 6 Months Ago At the hospital where I gave birth the maternity ward is very overcrowded. you don't stay in unless you had complications in the birth or your baby weighs under 5 pounds. Lily was on time and weighed 6 pound 9 and I was only in the hospital 6 hours after she was born. Its crazy!!! I don't mind as long as I get her home because I really HATE hospitals!!! My son was only 10 days early due to a neccasarily being induced (I was having complications during the pregnancy, not the birth). He was healthy and everything, but we still had to stay in the hospital two days. You are very lucky, I hate hospitals too.
