I'm pregnant with twins and I just found out today that one of the babies has Hypo- plastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). This is way too much for me to handle. I'm only 16 theres no way I can care for a baby with a heart defect. I dont know what to do. I'm so scared. Apparently She also has a PFO connection is extremely restricted which means I guess that it is allowing blood flow but not a lot if any blood flow to her tiny little lungs. I really need advice and a lot of prayers.

I just had a friend who's baby was diagnosed with the same thing. They only gave him 2 weeks to live after he is born. I hope your Dr. has discussed options with you. My friend and her husband decided to not do the surgery because, number 1- the baby might not live through the surgery, number 2- the surgery has a very small chance of working. Not to say your baby doesn't have a chance. All situations are different. I hope that your baby has a better chance of survival. I'm sorry so much has been put on your shoulders.

I would say that I'm sorry but I know that isn't what you want to hear, you want two perfect babies. I am praying for you but you need to do something that will help yourself too. You need to stop worrying and stressing cuz that won't help the other baby. There is still time for your body to fix it so just have a little faith and take care of you and your babies. Miracles happen. My heart does go out to you tho and I will send all the positive things your way that I can.

all i can say is have the twins but try as hard as you can to get a loan so that if the baby is alive when born u cn use dat money to save that baby.I believe that every life has a chance to be lived so i think u should do that and live the best of it .
