Okay I know my period is at least a little late and I think it's too early to take a pregnancy test. I want my period to be at least a full week late before I take one. Thanks ladies...

go to your doctor instead you can have a blood test done or a pregnancy test done by the doc

ok I personally would not even bother about it for atleast another week or so.... If you are worried then maybe do a test but I would wait a week or so before thinking to much about it.... There could be any number of reasons a period could be late and you may not actually be late or you may be pregnant I would just give it a bit more time

Wait another week, and if it hasn't come, then check.

I don't know where you live, but around where I live we have family planning clinics and women's resource centers that will let you take a free pregnancy test if you're really freaked out about the possibility of being pregnant. I'm with most of the other ladies who've posted already on waiting about a week, then if you still haven't had your period I would look into whether there's a free clinic somewhere in your area that will let you take a free test.

If you happen to live in the United States we have Dollar Stores all over the place and they carry pregnancy tests for $1.00. They are accurate so try one of those. Who knows you might be pregnant.
