By the way, on moving our son out of our bed with "little trouble", we did not do the method of "crying it out". We never had to do that, I don't like that. We just gradually weaned him out. I would put him in his bed and if during the night he woke up crying, I would bring him back to our bed at first, and then after doing that for a while I would just rock him and lay him back down, until eventually he was sleeping full time in his bed without waking up.

Personally I would purchase a crib that converts into a toddlers bed and then a full sized bed and then purchased all of the princess bedding.

I like the cribs that are transversal. You can use it all of their life.
