i got really big really fast during this pregnancy,by second month everyone thought i was on my fifth. then during my fifth month it got out of hand everyone said i looked like hd the baby any second! and then it gets worse my husband started making jokes..and its really hurtful, i mean really hurtful it makes my cry he says when its time to have the baby he'll have to roll me down the stairs. and tells me not stay in the same bed as him or the children or i'll crush them! then i finally dragged him to the ob/gyn and we solved the mystery that the baby at the time of full gestation wil weigh about 9 and half to ten pounds...but instead he took it as an excuse.and told the doctor its becasue i i like to eat. i'm now in my month # seven and i just cant take it anymore, i put myself on bed rest because i look and feel so big, we dont even sleep in the same bed anymore and during dinner he laughs at me when i eat and while i'm cooking accuses me of sneeaking food from the pan..what can i do to make the situation better!

I'm so sorry but what ur husband is doing sounds horrible! Just think of it this way: at least u are having a healthy baby! I was 9 lbs. 10 oz. when I was born and my mother was pretty big! Don't worry about what he is saying because it's hurting u to bad! Good luck to u and ur baby!

You need to tell him where to go!!!That is the most horrible thing I have heard in a long time. He should be ashamed of himself.Have you explained to him how hurtful it is? There should be a consequence for his actions. It sounds as if he is ashamed. Is he? If so, he needs to go. You will do fine and probably feel better about yourself. Can you go to your parents house or close friends until th ebaby comes? Do you have options? Take it easy and sometimes it helps to let it roll off and beat him tot he punch, so while you are in the kitchen cooking or what not, yell" here I go, sneaking some from the pan... want some??" See how he reacts to that? Good luck.

That is awful! My mom gained over 80 lbs and I was under 6 lbs. Sometimes your body just reacts differently to each pregnancy. You really need to let him know how harmful and hurtful he is being, not only to you but your child. Sometimes people do not think about the weight their words can carry and how deep they can cut. He may not realize it hurts, he may just think he is funny. If he continues I suggest staying as far from him as possible until it is resolved. Plus do not feel you need to hide out because of what others say. They do not know what you are going through and should keep their pithy comments to their selves. Tell them how hurtful it is to you!

Good Lord! tell him if he thinks youre too big then maybe next time he can carry a baby!!! There is a reason that women do that!! He seems kinda heartless. But seriouly, you do need to tell him that it hurts you and when you hurt, the baby hurts! He doesnt want to be hurting his child BEFORE its born!?!?!

could it be pregnancy diabetes?? i have the same problem im only just 27 weeks and everyone ask's if im having twins and that i must be due by now coz im so "fat" now my doc thinks i have pregnancy diabetes which is freaking me out but at least i know why im so big now.
